Sponsoring the Charity Classic at Belmont Country Club

Academy Engineering, PLLC was proud to be a sponsor of the Charity Classic at Belmont Country Club in Ashburn, Virginia. It was a good day on the course and an even better reason to be there.

Proceeds from the Charity Classic support the Loudoun First Responders Foundation, which stands behind the firefighters, law enforcement officers, and emergency medical personnel who serve Loudoun County and the surrounding communities.

That mission is personal for us. Our Principal Engineer and co-owner, James Symanski, PE, has a background in firefighting and emergency medical care. Time spent on those calls leaves you with a durable respect for the people who show up when a building, a road, or a family is having its worst day. It also shapes how we look at buildings: systems fail, water finds its way in, and the details you document today are the ones that matter later.

As a disabled veteran-owned professional engineering firm based in Northern Virginia, supporting the responders in our own region is one of the more straightforward ways we can give something back. We are grateful to the organizers, the volunteers, and everyone who turned out, and we are glad the proceeds are going to the Loudoun First Responders Foundation.
